Just a passing thought. Have you ever liked "something" (it can be anything really, a song, a personality, a movie or tv show, an animal…err that may be a bit too far off) and cannot explain why you like it despite the dissing and teasing from others? I know I have. Someone I know keeps on er…giving crass comments about Harry Potter (and keeps on "indirectly" supposing that I am such a "kid" for liking it…I sometimes get so annoyed that I’m short of telling him to "go and postulate your opinions to the nearest tree. thank you." - perhaps the tree might care whatever he thinks.) Anyway, don’t mind me, just being my usual self.

Last Thursday…I was in San Pablo. (yey! finally! I was able to breathe the fresh provincial air!) I did what I usually do on my days off. I draw (managed to start another wizard drawing - and I haven’t heard from the "savage" yet - an Isolde portrait.) I watched a couple of movies as well. "Stand By Me" (1986) - seen it about 12 times now. Brought back my River Phoenix obssession and what do you know I’m planning to make a portrait of him - a tribute thing, for November)…and "Pride and Prejudice" (the keira knightley film) - which finally convinced me to actually finish reading the book…and I think I’m "in-love" with Matthew MacFayden’s Mr. Darcy! (jesus the world must be drawing to an end - and a ghastly, horrific one at that - if I’m starting to say things like that.)

We don’t have much work today (in fact none at all). And so I decided to watch and add a whole lot of YouTube vids (surely a very productive way of spending your leisure time…haha).

I’m night shift tonight (or today since it’s almost 5:30 am). A few hours more before dawn, so I could finally go home (to San Pablo, I was not able to last week, so I’m really, really "excited" to go). Drawn a few frames (work flow is not THAT heavy tonight, you know when every penciller -almost- has to go on  a night shift (triple shift even).

I will also  have time to work on Mr. Savage’s wizard thing.

Finished Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital DVD today. Another "jewel" of a series. Will get to be one of my all time favourites. I wish they’d show things like that here on Philippine TV (instead of those dreadful koreanovelas - with virtually the same story - parang cancer na ito ng Phil TV!) I have yet to get hold of the 4400 series DVD. The KH song got stuck in my head as well…"Bye bye Baby. Don’t be long. I worry about you while you’re gone…" Loved the characters - especially Dr. Hook *drools* and Mary Jensen & Antubis/Anubis.

Also found the Silent Hill song(s) "Letter…from the Lost Days" by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as well as "Waiting for You" by the same artist. ^-^ I’ll have them "CD-burned" along with other songs I’ve "discovered" when I get home.
