A list of "dream" jobs for people like me. Who knows, I might take up one of them, should my current job become too unbearable…hehehe..

got it from: http://www.pipeline.com/~dada3zen/lists.htm - a wonderful site about introverts.

The introverted job list :

  • Janitor (night, after the 9-to-5 = I can personally confirm that this job, as long as it’s solo, works).
  • Data Entry (at home, in particular) and/or other computer oriented tasks.
  • Security Guard (late-night, for an office building etc).
  • Library (small branches thereof).
  • Home Business or Own Business (which, of course, is incredibly difficult/tricky/costly).
  • Stocking Shelves (late-night, after store is closed).
  • Vet or something to do with animals (ala "dogsitter").
  • Grave Digger (mentioned by Joe Schilbe).
  • Baby minder : babies like cats are perfect company for introverts. Nonjudgmental, accepting and oblivious of your oddities they never mind when you have nothing to say. (mentioned by Saffron Marriott)
  • another great job for an introvert is a book indexer. most are freelance and work at home (mentioned by Melissa)
  • There is a chronic shortage of about 150,000 Class A truckers, according to the Dept. of Transportation,  and with a few years’ experience typical income is $50-$60k plus benefits with a major carrier, and it’s a perfect job for schizoids and introverts.  Lots of solitary time, and the social interaction is all business. (mentioned by Ray)

Listening To: "Forsaken" by Disturbed

Current Mood: Absolutely, and Totally PISSED!

Last Movie Seen: Wimbledon

Padni I made another calendar. Took about 15 minutes, as my unit was so "fast."

Im still not over "Revenge of the Sith" so most of the work I do is somehow related to it.

Also found on my website: http://www.jedidawn.biz.ph. Those vague words in the background were in fact lyrics of the song, "When I’m Gone" by Three Doors Down. Quite fitting.

Poster02 Whew! After 10 years, I finally saw "Revenge of the Sith" in theater. It took a while and much persuation (I will not elaborate on that).Yesterday, June 13, 2005. This review will probably be biased as I am a Star Wars freak. Not fan. Not enthusiast. But freak. I worship the ground George Lucas walks upon…of course, not literally! Anyway, here are the scenes which I will probably remember for the rest of my life (very much like "I am your father." and the throne room duel between Vader and Luke).

  • Obi-Wan’s "You were the Chosen One, you were supposed to destroy the Sith, not join them. You were to bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!" and "You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you."
  • The duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan in Mustafar. That was very awesome…and sad.
  • Master Yoda vs. Darth Sidious right in the center of the Galactic Senate Rotunda (with "Duel of the Fates" as the background music). One is supposed to know the symbolism behind it! If not, you must be wearing blinders!
  • Anakin killing Jedi younglings (children padawans). It was not shown graphically, but you get the idea. Anakin enters the dark and empty council chamber where the children hid. They emerge one by one. A young boy (maybe 8-9 years old) approaches  him, "There are too many of them (referring to the Clone Troopers), Master Skywalker…" Then Anakin ignites his blade and later we see the children lying on the floor, murdered. The expression on the children’s faces…
  • Anakin entering the Jedi Temple with Clone Troopers behind him. Absolutely chilling.
  • The Jedi Temple burning.
  • Order 66. Clone Troopers killing the Jedi Generals simultaneously across the galaxy (the background music was simply fantastic…sad…you get "the end of an era" feel).
  • Anakin choking Padme.
  • Obi-Wan’s "Your new Empire?" Disgust, shock, and disbelief all in one.
  • Padme pleading with Anakin in Mustafar.
  • Padme’s death and funeral intersped with Anakin’s transformation as Darth Vader. A close up shot of the Jappor Snippet alludes to the idea that Padme probably took all that was "Anakin" to the grave.
  • The twins (Luke and Leia) given to their new families after being separated. Both shown with the sun setting on the horizon.
  • Anakin, now fully armored as Darth Vader, asking, "Where is Padme? Is she safe?"…then the Emperor answering…"It seems that in your anger, you killed her." That should be the last straw. I mean, how much guilt would he probably carry for the rest of his abnormal existence, knowing he killed his wife, the very person he wanted to save? No wonder he was so murderous in the OT…all that intense self-loathing.
  • Anakin’s "I HATE YOU!" to Obi-Wan. (although that was not entirely unjustified, because if you cut off both of my legs and my right arm, I would probably hate you too… ^_^!)

On the Etcetera Subject:

Mr. Scott finally got my bio up on his website:  http://www.irkenempire.com/leiaskywalker83.htm as well as a Princess Leia portrait with an awesome text caption. And if that wasn’t enough, I got a new Padme portrait too! click on the image to the left to see full-view.

I’m bored. I’m ranting. Don’t mind me.

Mood: Fine…I think. Listening to: Smoke by Natalie Imbruglia, followed by Surrounded, sung by Chantal Kreviazuk (what a mouthful!?)

Well, finally, after 10 years…hehehe…my artwork for Scott Ferguson’s Star Wars Altered Universe is up. Not just in this blog (can’t upload the image for now, there seems to be some sort of problem) but also on my Deviantart account….and guess what? on http://www.irkenempire.com/leiasky1.htm — soon, I’ll also have my own bio and art gallery on Mr. Scott’s site…I’m very thankful that my drawings get promoted in more ways than one. Besides Mr. Scott’s story was really great…the best I’ve seen so far. Maybe the best EVER.

Edit: Just let me state a fact. The people around this place (my office) are starting to bother me. Seriously. My tolerance for their antics are getting lower and lower, day by day…I just wish they would just SHUT UP! for once. Or keep their voices down. I tell you. I might have to decapitate a few people…stop me!

And why, for crying out loud, should they be SOOO noisy???! why??

Mood: Bored Bored. Very Bored. And slightly Mad.
Listening to: Head Like A Hole - Nine Inch Nails
Reading: Blood Canticle by Anne Rice

Anyway, here are my most recent artworks. Be sure to visit http://leiaskywalker83.deviantart.com/ - that, my friends, is my Online Art Gallery.

In case you have been living in a cave and do not know the characters, I shall introduce them. Anakin Skywalker and Queen Amidala/Padme Naberrie -

Since I’m bored, I’ll just enumerate a few things I’ve noticed:

  • There has been a power outage. grr.. so I had to repeat everything I wrote here.A1_4
  • Currently, a vaccum cleaner is stuck at the side of my head, courtesy of the co-workers from hell. I have nothing against their talking and being merry. Just as long as they would at least lower the volume a bit. But that is just wishful thinking. One cannot be too lucky. These people don’t know how to speak without practically shouting. Whatever happened to civilization, eh? They certainly have no manners! What’s up with these people??!
  • A2_1 Recently, I have been very distracted, I cannot seem to hold my concentration very well. I feel as if someone is rummaging inside my head, which is probably due to the lack of suitable environment. Customers, employees, and other people come and go. I can’t have the peace and quiet I so desire. I’m very stressed out. I can’t wait to go home!
  • It’s almost five o’clock.
  • Everything seems to be going nowhere and quite pointless.I wonder why? But then again, that might just be my depression kicking in again. Life stinks! (a bit)
